A Slate of New Classes and Seminars

I love working with curious seekers who want to expand their minds and worlds.

So in line with the upcoming eclipses, I’ve mapped out the next few months to allow me to focus and commit to that part of my practice that I love the most.

This December, I’m offering an annual favorite for conducting past life and ancestral readings, Reading the River of Time—talk about patterns of sabotage!—and a new course for creatives with a dream of expressing their passions on paper, Tarot for Writers.

Then in January, I'm starting the new year off with the new one-time seminar Diving Into Kipper, which will introduce you to a new and powerful card-reading system, and my five-intensive tarot fundamentals course, Read Tarot like a Nerd. If you’ve been reading tarot for a few months or even a few years, but it’s not clicking, or if you’ve been reading for longer and know you have some gaps, this course is for you.

And in February, we’ll be building off those fundamentals to get more specialized. Bring the court cards to life in your readings and in your everyday life with Awaken in the Court Cards. And learn to tackle the cards that cause readers and querents pain, the Hard Cards of Tarot.

There will be another one-time seminar based on tarot and astrology in March, but that feels too far away to mention. I may also limit it to current and former students. TBD.

And I’ll be hosting another cohort of Tarot to Transform Your Life in the spring, but I’m not sure exactly when. I need to wait until after I do my year-ahead Portals of Being reading for myself because it feels like something big is happening that might interfere with an intimate and intense three-month program if I time it badly.

If none of these appeals to you or you want a more personal experience, schedule a private lesson with me!

Reading the River of Time

There’s no better way to explore the inexplicable patterns of your life than by digging into the lives within you that aren’t yours. Reading the River of Time teaches you how to open up to ancestors, past lives, and your inner child through divination by accessing the River of Time and connecting deeply with what’s within but hidden from traditional tarot readings. Space is limited to ensure a magically and spiritually supportive experience as we dig deep within and connect very personally with each other.

Saturdays, December 3, 10, and 17

12:00PM–1:30PM US Pacific Time

Note that there are additional 1:1 and 2:1 practica that will be scheduled separately after the final group session.

Tarot for Writers

If you’re excited for NaNoWriMo (November is National Novel Writing Month), I hope you participate because I’ve completed three novels that way. Are they good? Probably not. But it’s an amazing accomplishment.

Whether you do or not, I will be hosting a tarot challenge to help you uncover a compelling main character waiting for you to bring them to life. You’ll put them through the ringer, discover their character arc, and explore their world. And it’s free!

And if you want to dig deeper into using tarot for writing, sign up for this new three-part class co-hosted by prolific author Taryn Elliott.

Wednesdays, December 7, 14, and 21

6:00PM–7:30PM, US Pacific Time

Note that while this is focused on creating fictional stories, everything we cover applies to real-life readings and nonfiction.

Diving Into Kipper

Come learn how to read the 19th-century Bavarian system of Kipper cards in a modern context for oracle readings and predictive cartomancy. This three-hour deep dive into the ins and outs of Kipper readings using the newly published Seaborn Kipper by Siolo Thompson and me. It will be full of practice and personalized Q&A.

Saturday, January 14

11:00AM–2:00PM US Pacific Time

Read Tarot like a Nerd

You’re ready to move beyond the basics of tarot. I’ll teach you to read tarot with depth and precision using your natural strengths. How? I’ll teach you how to read tarot like a nerd. We’ll cover six strategies for reading tarot, regardless of the deck you use, and apply them to the cards in context and to different layouts.

Wednesdays, Jan 18–Feb 15

5:30–7:00PM US Pacific Time

Note that you will get access to the self-paced version of the course as well as the live sessions. If you can’t attend the sessions live or just want the self-paced version, you can sign up for that at any time.

The Hard Cards of Tarot

Some of the most challenging cards in the tarot deck have potent medicine hiding within them, just as some of the cards that shine the brightest can blind us to their complexities. Let me help you explore the ups and downs within some of the challenging cards in the tarot so that you can take their lessons and apply them clearly for yourself.

Saturdays, Feb 25–March 25

12:00–1:00PM US Pacific Time

Awaken the Court Cards

Almost everyone who reads tarot struggles with the court cards, and I get it. I did too. But once you get to know them as personas and the way they function in you and the people you know, they’ll soon make sense. You’ll also get a taste of how to use the court cards to intentionally empower you and enhance your life.

Tuesdays, Feb 28–March 28

5:30PM–7:00PM US Pacific Time

And if you want to explore awakening the court cards on your own before the class, get a copy of the Awaken the Court Cards workbook.
