TAROT readings for personal development, idea generation, and general advice on a variety of topics are available by number of cards or by type of spread. If you’re unsure of what type of reading suits your situation, you can scroll through the complete options below, try the Fool’s Forecast as a quick starting place, or just ask me.
While you’re deciding whether I’m the right reader for you, you can see testimonials from some of my clients here.
Situations that lead someone to seek out the tarot’s guidance will vary by person, so I offer a variety of reading types based on topic, pattern of cards, and number of cards. To help streamline the options beyond Featured Readings, I’ve broken them up into three general types based on their openness to customization. If you’re not sure what suits you, then start with Common Concerns and work your way down until you find what you need.
These are spreads that I use to address some of the most common areas of concern, such as past relationships, difficulties with a job search, the big questions of passion and purpose, and starting over or moving on.
These are suitable for people who have general questions about a broad topic but don’t necessarily know what they want to ask.
This is the catch-call for custom readings with specific sets of questions that don’t fall into one of the other categories.
Some people prefer phone or video readings over carefully written interpretation reports, and that’s fine by me. Live readings are purchased by amount of time, so they offer the most flexibility in terms of reading type, and questions can be asked on the fly as time allows.
Because this is a custom creation in response to your specific needs, you must fill out a form before you complete the purchase if you are choosing any of the non-live readings. This helps me tailor the reading to your situation: it includes basic information, as well as the option to provide relevant details about your situation that you’re comfortable sharing. You can even pick your preferred deck from my available decks, if you have one. Even if you’ve filled out this optional section, there’s a chance that I will ask for more information before I can finalize the question(s) that I ask the cards for any Patterned Spreads or Cards by the Number readings. I’ll email you if that is the case.
If you’re interested in the actual steps I go through when reading the cards and preparing the report I send you, read my post on “The Process.”
My tarot readings should be considered opportunities to engage the mind in new ways. They should not be considered substitutes for professional services, such as financial, legal, or medical advice, or psychological counseling or therapy. They are also not guarantees about future events. The readings are tools that you can choose to use in part or in whole (or not at all). I encourage you to read more about my tarot practice and my list of frequently asked questions.
When you purchase a live reading, you’re getting a custom tarot reading over the phone or via video, which can include as many questions and spreads as time and depth of interpretation allow. For any other reading, you’re purchasing a PDF report that I will send via email* that includes the following: a record of what cards I have drawn; an image of those cards; and, most importantly, a report of what I believe those cards to mean within the context of your unique situation and how you might apply their message to your life. Typically, a report averages 200 words per card, but larger readings (with six cards or more) might not exceed 1000 words simply because there could be redundancies in the ideas the cards convey and thus shortcuts in the explanation of those messages. The reading technically ends there, but I encourage you to start a dialogue with me over email about the reading, especially if you have questions about the reading itself.
*The email will be sent to the address provided during the payment information. If you are not comfortable receiving an email from me at that address, I can also provide readings via Instagram DM as long as that was listed in the Request Form. They will not be in PDF format, but I can provide all the relevant text and image(s).
