MEssage of the Moment

There’s a lot going on in today, and it may feel like a test. Did you do everything you were supposed to do? Do you know where you want to be in five years? Do you know what you want for dinner, not what’s easy but what you really want? A lot of the questions on this test of day will be unimportant in the grand scheme, but a few will get to the heart of something that matters for you. Focus on the questions that give you pause and also make you curious. These are seeds being sown for a future harvest. You may not know today where you fit within your community or how you feel about the big topics or how to answer the big questions, but you will in the future. It’s okay to sit in that unknowing and soak up the mystery of it. Check the dumb things off your list quickly because they won’t matter before long. Make room for curiosity and wonder and getting to know new and unexpected perspectives.

Pivot. Even the Hanged Man can move a little while stuck to his cross. It might not be easy to make the shift, but allow yourself to sway and stretch to get the momentum needed for moving into the next thing that’s calling you. If you’re working on a project, take a step back to a previous project or an old draft and use that as your launch point. If you’re feeling disconnected, go back to a memory of connection. Don’t try to leap from midair but instead swing into the future. If you’ve seen a trapeze artist, you know they pull back before taking their flying leap. The pendulum will move again. Give it a little assist. You don’t have to do much once you’re able to start moving again. Energy reawakens with movement, so make little moves if you feel stuck. And if you’ve been thinking about pendulum work for mediumship, consider this a sign to experiment. Sundays can be great days for connecting with the ancestors.

Today feels hard as you find yourself caught between choices or worlds or competing interests. You may feel rushed to go one direction or another, but if you can hold the balance today, try. There’s nothing good to be gained from a hasty decision. This whole week has been a lesson in longevity and long-term thinking. Today is the day when that is tested, and you may not feel ready, so hold off if you can. Timelines are so often arbitrary, a stage gate because someone decided they needed a goal. But your experience is not hypothetical, and if it’s asking you to delay, you’ll need to consider whether you can continue that awkward straddle a little longer. If you feel rushed, ask what the source of that is. Do you need to honor and respect that source? Or is it just noise or even an immature and ignorant bully who doesn’t know better?
